Getalit laminate splashbacks, manufactured by Westag Getalit, are available in a number of colours and finishes and are designed to be fixed to walls above worktops and breakfast bars. This means you don't have to tile and grout which means a lot of labour is saved. The wipe clean surface is more hygienic than ceramic tiles. They can be fixed in place using a good quality silicon sealant.  These splashbacks are available in two sizes:- 4000 x 650 x 14mm and 4000 x 1300 x 14mm. They can be cut using ordinary woodworking power tools.
